Theresa Park

Theresa Park

Founder

Theresa began her career as a literary agent at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates in 1994. (Prior to that, she was an attorney at Cooley Godward, a Silicon Valley law firm.) She represents principally plot-driven fiction and a short list of serious nonfiction. Some of her clients include Nicholas Sparks, Debbie Macomber, Emily Giffin, Laura Zigman, Janice Lee, Juliette Fay, Robert Whitaker, B.R. Myers, and Thomas Levenson. A graduate of U.C. Santa Cruz and Harvard Law School, she is married and has two children.

Rachel Bressler

Executive Director, Corporate and Publisher Relations

Rachel has held many positions in the publishing industry throughout her career, including store manager, sales rep and marketing director. She most recently served as associate publisher at Ecco Press, an imprint of HarperCollins. She joined the Park Literary Group in March of 2012 to put her knowledge of bookselling and author care to work for the agency's clients as well as a variety of corporate and publishing partners. An avid reader of all types of fiction, narrative non-fiction and memoir, she does not represent clients or accept queries. Rachel holds a BFA from The Rhode Island School of Design.

Abigail Koons

Abigail Koons

Agent and Executive Director, Foreign Rights

Abigail works with both emerging and established talent, representing projects about popular science, history, politics, current affairs and art. She also has a passion for character-driven commercial women's fiction. Some of her clients include Emily Anthes, Marjorie Liu, Catherine McKenzie, Susan McCorkindale and Emily Voigt.  She began her career at the Nicholas Ellison Agency. Prior to that, she worked for EF Education, a multinational corporation based in Sweden. Abigail is a graduate of Boston University.

Emily Sweet

Emily Sweet

Executive Director, Business Affairs and Client Promotions

After five and a half years practicing law at King & Spalding in Washington DC, Emily joined the Park Literary Group in early 2009. In addition to providing legal and business oversight to the agency, she also serves as a liaison to the film and media industries, and assists the agency's clients on key marketing initiatives, brand development and philanthropic endeavors. Emily does not represent clients for publishing, and does not accept queries. An avid reader of both non-fiction and fiction, particularly biographies, mysteries, and historical and contemporary fiction, she enjoys working in a creative industry. After receiving a B.A. in Political Science and Women’s Studies from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, Emily later earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.

Alex Greene

Director of Business Affairs and Senior Story Editor

Alex joined the Park Literary Group in 2012 to provide legal and editorial support on a range of projects for our clients. She began her career at a film and TV agency in Los Angeles before joining Elyse Cheney at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates in New York. After earning her JD from Harvard Law School, Alex worked as a corporate and licensing attorney in the Boston office of WilmerHale. A lover of film and an avid reader with broad literary and commercial tastes, Alex is passionate about storytelling in all its forms. She earned a BA in history from Yale University. Alex does not represent clients or accept queries.

Peter Knapp

Peter joined the Park Literary Group in July 2011. He provides creative and logistical support, and is currently building his client list, focusing on the middle grade and young adult markets. Prior to joining Park Literary, he was the story editor at Floren Shieh Productions, where he consulted on book-to-film adaptations for Los Angeles-based film and TV entities. He graduated from New York University with a B.A. in art history.

Blair Wilson

Blair joined the Park Literary Group in March, 2012. She assists Abigail Koons with both foreign rights work and client representation, providing creative and administrative support to the staff and clients. An avid reader of a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, Blair worked as an intern for Duke University Press and BW&A Books in Durham, North Carolina prior to joining the Park Literary Group. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA from the College of Letters and a certificate in Social, Cultural, and Critical Theory.
